Hi Guys,

Been a while since i posted but most of you know I now have another GTO.
I've been quietly working away with getting mods sorted for it and will likely bring it out for ANG07.

My question relates to cruise control. Being an MR it has none factory fitted and I wanted it in for long range trips so i got a kit made up at Autostrada here in Brisbane.

The mechanic's at work need full wiring diagrams for the car to attempt fitting it as it is a 5-6 hr job (or alot more with no wiring diagram).

Does anyone have access to wiring diagrams for this model in english as not had any luck with google or a search or the forums...

Also has anyone fitted aftermarket cruise control to their GTO's here in Aus? This one is an Electronic RF type to suit the throttle cable setup on the car.

5-6 hr job wtf... I guess you are getting him to do it because its free. That shouldn't be anymore than a 2-3 hr job max without a hoist. All he will need access to is the speed-sense wire from behind speedo (or other location). Brake and clutch switch and ignition. Plus you need public insurance that covers fitting of cruise controls as it isn't normally covered unless specified. Who did you speak to at Autostrada - was it Daniel... Good brand too. I've done thousands of their kits over the years.

Can't remember the guy's name but he wasn't very polite! Funny enough the guy there quoted me 5-6hrs to do the job at a cost of $170 per hour which i can't justify or afford to do it..
I negotiated a better price on the kit with the manager who seemed ok.
Nah the guys at work will charge between $40-$80 per hour depending on who does it (based off level of experience)

Would you know anyone who would be confident in fitting it locally or are you willing to put it for me for cash?
